This video is for those of you that use the palace software and upgraded to PChat4 that wish to know how to quick edit without resorting to PSP.
For best results watching this, view in fullscreen and high quality.
Few tips –
1. My background is purple in my edit window. To change your edit window from checkerbox’s to a color like mine, go to view in the edit menu and select Checker Board. After doing so it will prompt you to select a color, make SURE to pick one that is not a color within the avatar you are editing to save yourself confusion. To change colors again , re-turn on checkerboard then re-turn it off and it will prompt you again.
2. When erase outlining make sure flood erase is always turned off until you’re completly done. Go back and check your outline for anyplace you might have missed, it’s easier to just make sure you start where you left off. Don’t be afraid to erase a few pixels off your avatar, the more you erase from the edges the less likely you are to have unwanted grey/white/black pixels left from the background.
3. When getting to erasing the background away after you’ve outlined, TURN ON erase flood and make sure your tolerance is set at 244(the max setting) to clear all pixels. As shown in this video sometimes it wont clear all pixels (the corner at the end of this one) because they are very far away in the color spectrum from what you did erase.
